Mt Kisco NY Homes | ‘Bridesmaids’ Carnie Wilson’s Home Listed as Short Sale | Mt Kisco NY Celebrity Real Estate

Source: IMDb

Although 90s pop trio “Wilson Phillips,” experienced a brief resurgence of fame with an appearance in the blockbuster comedy “Bridesmaids,” one of their members looks like she won’t be able to “hold on” to her home.

While Carnie Wilson’s home is currently listed as a short sale on the Tarzana real estate market, court documents released by TMZ paint a more dire situation. Wilson’s home is scheduled to go up for auction July 21 if Wilson does not settle her payments, TMZ said.

According to the foreclosure documents filed in the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, Carnie defaulted on her mortgage and still owes over $1.6 million on her house.

Carnie, her sister Wendy Wilson, and childhood friend Chynna Phillips formed “Wilson Phillips” in 1989 and had three number one singles before they disbanded in 1993. Carnie went on to host her own talk show and made a few other television appearances. Currently she stars in a reality TV show entitled “Carnie Wilson: Unstapled.”

The Los Angeles real estate market, like many of the markets throughout the U.S., was adversely affected by the recession. While the median Tarzana home values are still high at $612,100, they have dropped 7.6 percent year-over-year according to Zillow Real Estate Market Reports. Carnie isn’t the only celebrity to face foreclosure—Nicolas Cage and a few Real Housewives are others who have had mortgage problems.

Carnie’s home, which she shares with her husband and children, is a gated and walled property with five bedrooms and five baths. The home features a large kitchen with granite counter-tops, maple cabinets as well as vaulted ceilings, cherry built-ins and a large pool outside.

The listing is held by Aaron Leider of Keller Williams Realty.

North Salem NY Homes | DWTS Co-Host Brooke Burke Lists Malibu Home For $12.5 Million | North Salem NY Celebrity Real Estate

Source: IMDb

Who says you can’t experience the south of France in California?

Dancing with the Stars host Brooke Burke and David Charvet’s home, aptly named Chateau Charvet, was designed to evoke a house in the south of France, where Charvet was born.

According to the LA Times, the home is listed for sale on the Malibu real estate market for $12,500,000—property listing information shows it as an 880 percent price increase from when the land was sold to Charvet in 1998. The chateau-like estate was built in 2007.

Both Burke and Charvet got their start in modeling. Burke currently co-hosts of the show “Dancing with the Stars,” a role she took after winning the TV competition in 2007. Charvet is best known for his roles on “Baywatch” and “Melrose Place.”

The home for sale is located in the exclusive celebrity enclave of Serra Retreat, where Mel Gibson and Kelsey Grammar own homes. Although these houses don’t have views of the water like ones found in the Malibu colony, many of them have larger property lines and enjoy greater privacy. Current median Malibu home values are at $1,531,700.

The 5-bedroom, 4.5 bath home owned by Burke and Charbet has 6,769 square feet of living space and plenty of details that help the property live up to its chateau title. The driveway, made of with individually placed old stones, leads to a sculptured courtyard with 18th century fountain at its center. Inside, the home has antique hand plastered walls, hand carved limestone and walnut flooring, as well as imported French fireplaces, hand sculpted doors and inlaid ceiling details. The home also features a hidden screening room, a 4,000-bottle wine cellar with Chateau Margaux barrels inset in the wall, a wood paneled office, large bonus lower level room and a “woman’s off season closet.”

Outside, the home has a pool, outdoor dining area, and 200 bush rose garden.

The listing is held by Susan Monus of Coldwell Banker.

Katonah NY Realtor learns Your Love of Outdoor Sports Shouldn’t Jeopardize Your Health | Katonah NY real estate

Outdoor sports – from all-terrain vehicles and dirt bike racing to hunting, skiing, running and snowmobiling – are popular across all age groups. There are approximately 300,000 registered 4-wheelers in Minnesota alone. People love the thrill! But did you know that something as common as inhaling dust, fumes or even just really cold air can be dangerous?

“Your lungs are susceptible to airborne particles. Anything you breathe in has a direct pathway to inside your body,” cautions outdoor enthusiast and entrepreneur Steve Torbenson who has been riding everything from mini-bikes to go-karts since he was a kid. “People assume cheap dust masks or wet bandanas trap most of the harmful particles, but they can’t do the job as effectively as a mask that uses a N99 carbon-activated filter.”

After seeing his children’s faces blackened by dust after a day of riding, Torbenson decided to make lung protection his biggest priority. “Dust is one of the biggest problems encountered by outdoor sports enthusiasts. People who enjoy dirt bikes, ATVs, etc. often wind up covered with grime – and they are still coughing it up several days later. Likewise, NASCAR enthusiasts hate breathing in car exhaust. Runners often battle high pollen counts. Air quality is a recurring issue among athletes and spectators alike.

“That’s why the neoprene RZ Mask is such a hot item. It has N99 carbon-activated, replaceable filters that filter out 99.9 percent of all airborne particles (both gasses and solids), it is comfortable and sporty, and it fits easily inside a helmet.”

Reversing the mask’s exhaust discharge valves blocks the wearer’s scent, which can be crucial for hunters. “Hunters may spend as much as $1,000 in scent-masking apparel but until now, they have missed this one big source of human odor – our breath.”

Torbenson began importing the RZ Mask more than two years ago, and says winter is a prime time for mask usage because breathing cold air can be hazardous. “Cold air can be hard on lungs, especially for seniors and those who suffer from asthma or COPD. It can irritate your airway causing the muscles around your airway to contract and making it harder to breathe. Also, breathing cold air into your lungs can cause you to lose up to 35 percent of your body core temperature, increasing your chances of getting the flu or a cold.”

People who use the RZ Mask can breathe air that is as much as 75 degrees warmer, increasing their safety as they enjoy outdoor activities in colder climates.” And because of its specially designed discharge valves, the mask will not fog eyeglasses.

These comfortable hand-washable masks with Velcro straps, which come in a variety of colors from camouflage to pink, also are gaining popularity among those working in agriculture. Farmers, for example, now favor them when working around dusty grain bins. The masks also filter out toxic and hazardous fumes and odors generated by cattle, sheep, horses, poultry and pigs as well as pollen, pesticides and fertilizers.

“I’m proud to be personally involved with helping farmers, ranchers as well as outdoor athletes and spectators protect their health,” says Torbenson. Other precautions that he lives by include:
● Slow down when sight lines are poor. “For example, cross streams only at designated fording points, where the trail crosses the stream.”
● Comply with all signs and respect barriers. “Venture into areas designated as off-limits can be disastrous.”
● Wear a mask that protects your lungs. “RZ Masks are versatile enough to use for any kind of outdoor sport.”
● Buddy up. “This reduces your vulnerability if you have an accident or breakdown. Designate meeting areas in case of separation.”
● Use common sense. This final safety tip is by far the best. Common sense can take you far, especially when it involves your safety.

“Our goal is to provide the best protection we can to combat these pollutants for everyday use as well as sports. RZ Masks will allow you to enjoy your favorite activities without jeopardizing your health.”

Biography – Steve Torbenson

Steve Torbenson is owner of RZ Mask, LLC. His life-long love of riding began at age 5 when his parents bought him a mini bike. At age seven, his parents bought him a Honda 50, his younger brother got the mini bike, and together they rode every weekend at the family’s cabin in southern Minnesota. The brothers also enjoyed riding go-karts and water skiing. As the boys grew, so did their motorcycles. At 14, Steve was riding a Yamaha 125 . That same year, his parents bought a hobby farm where his dad built a motocross track. The boys and their friends would ride from sunrise to sunset.

Although he truly loved this sport, even in his early years Steve hated the dust. Once he was married and had four boys of his own, the cycle started over. Like their dad, the boys all started riding around age five. About that same time, Steve was buying, repairing and selling homes – loving every aspect of his career except the dust.

After months of research, he finally found the perfect sport/dust mask – the RZ Mask – which he began selling in May 2010. The masks now sell worldwide including Australia, Mexico, Central America, Venezuela, Canada and soldiers in Afghanistan.

Bedford Hills Realtor uses Unfollow Twitter Tool | Bedford Hills NY Real Estate

Why You Should Use Unfollow Tools

Jun 20, 2011 by

The use of unfollow tools has been increased dramatically in the past few years. When people were beleaguered by the constant flow of spam, unfollow tools came in the scene. These unfollow tools help you to maintain the quality of your twitter feed as well getting rid of redundant spammers. There can be several reasons why we should use unfollow tools, let’s take a look at it.

Spam Free Community

This is why unfollow tools were developed, to keep the community spam free. When twitter surfaced the web, it was more or good a nice and clean site. But spammers found their own goldmine in twitter and started to come in bunches. Now, there are thousands of bots and spammers in twitter account that completely acts like a human but an automated bot. Unfollow tools help you eliminate these useless spammers by using several behavior pattern analysis. With different unfollow tools, you can filter your followers based on their activity, avatar, interaction, tweets etc. You can easily remove the spammers by these different types of lists.

Save Your Valuable Time

Just imagine if there were no unfollow tools, you are manually opening the profiles of your friends and clicking unfollow from the list of thousand followers. This sure can be pretty time consuming. That’s why one of the best features of unfollow tools is saving time. It can save you ample time by filtering people according to your choice. For example, with UnTweeps, you can select a time range for which period the people were inactive. It will come up with a list of people inactive within that time range and make it easy for you to inactive. Manually, however, this task is impossible to do. There is no way that you can go on and check each and every profile to see their last tweet time and remove them.

Organizing your Twitter Account

Customarily we start twitter to follow almost everyone live on the social platform. However, at point it seems hard to keep a track with almost everyone and find the valuable tweets. Even, filtering does not help in most of the cases. That is why we need to organize and manage our twitter account properly. With the help of different unfollow tools it is quite easy to find some useless people in a profile and eliminate them to ensure a quality feed. If you want to stay updated and need someone with good tweets, you might prefer deleting the people that are not active for a certain period of time. Or if you are bogged-down by stream of cluttered tweets you might opt to delete them as well. The unfollow tools help you get rid of all these type of people and let you manage your twitter account.

No Installation Needed!

Most of the unfollow tools available now are web-based and have a good looking interface. There is no need for installation of any software which is a good thing for the safety of our own pc. You can save lots of hassles by just using web-based unfollow tools.
