When American men went off to war in the 1940’s, women stepped up to the plate and kept the factories running. When women weren’t legally allowed to join trade organizations in Germany around 1850, they set off to start their own. And from New Zealand to Saudi Arabia, over 120 years, women have fought for and won the right to vote in nearly 200 nations.Today is the 100-year anniversary of International Women’s Day, so we want to highlight some of the incredible women on Twitter who are sharing their voices with the world.
