    Elliman CEO Dottie Herman

New York City’s own Prudential Douglas Elliman was named the number one brokerage in the nationwide Prudential Real Estate Affiliates network this week, Elliman CEO Dottie Herman announced following a ceremony in San Diego, Calif.

The company’s Manhattan offices and agents took home a litany of awards and honors, including, for the eighth year in a row, the top office by gross commission income. Elliman’s 575 Madison Avenue office held onto that title (it was also fifth by number of units), besting some 1,940 other Prudential network offices nationwide. It followed by Elliman’s 26 West 17th Street office at No. 2 and 1995 Broadway at No. 3.

And, among individual agents, no surprise here: “stratospheric” superbroker Dolly Lenz was the top producer by gross commission income out of some 62,000 agents in the Prudential network. The DeNiro Group took the top spot for teams, followed by the Leonard Steinberg Team. In fact, seven of the top 10 nationwide teams came from Elliman. Among the other top producers: the Ann Cutbill Lenane Team (No. 3), the Janice Chang Team (No. 4), the Holly Parker Team (No. 5), the Daniela Kunen Team (No. 6), and the Jacky Teplitzky Team (No. 9).

The Faith Hope Consolo Group also took top honors in the commercial sector, followed by Elliman’s Dana Commercial Group in second place. TRD

Why does it feel that everything about Elliman is all about Dottie. does she give anyone other than herself any credit for anything?

She is the CEO of the company, who else is she going to give credit too? She can’t name all 1,000 agents every time there is a story about Elliman.

She should have thanked the lack of an MLS in areas of domination- that, and hiring anything that breathes.

Can we say Bitter to commenter (s) # 1, 2, 4 and 7 Prudential has offices nationwide and Southern California won last year. It has slots for GCI and Unit #’s … so offices like Kansas can win and they do. Elliman came in #5 in units #1 in GCI. Prudential Elliman is # 1 among the New York City Real Estate Companies as well. Congrats Dottie !

#12 to make it clear, this is a race within a franchise named Prudential. This is a Prudential award. Not Douglas Elliman. The award is for cooperating Prudential Brokerages. And, by the way, if they claim that the offices that took top honors were from NYC, then it is a farse award. Because, those offices apparently are operating under the Douglas Elliman name and alias Prudential. As far as Dottie knowing all the names of the agents, she only knows the ones of her favorite pets, which she keeps close and parties with. It’s a family affair. I never once heard her mention her husband or her real family.

To add to that, Douglas Elliman already was established before Prudential purchased it to add to their portfolio. And, NYC holds its own. You are very correct #7. Let’s see what happens when stratosphere broker Idaliaz Dolly Lenz departs. I doubt that will happen, she is too smart not to negotiate on her terms.

#16 Does the Heads of Corcoran & Halstead know the names of all of their brokers I doubt it. She is being asked about her company not her Husband and family. Such Haters! BTW Prudential Douglas Elliman is the number 1 real estate company in NYC, Beating out … Corcoran, Hlastead, Brown Harris and etc …. so put that in your hat !

RG – Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. #1 maybe in the Prudential network (only because you included the NYC offices). You are not #1 in NYC.
