Green Fire: Aldo Leopold & A Land Ethic for Our Time

WLT is proud to present the feature-length film, “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold & A Land Ethic for Our Time,” with commentary by Susan Todd, filmmaker and environmentalist. This film documents Leopold’s philosophy and main interests – the relation of people to each other, and the relation of people to the land. It is also a positive view of conservation initiatives around the country, and the history of conservation, including local farm food.

Urban Forests is an initiative being promoted by New York Restoration Project and US Forest Service to create vibrant cities by integrating built & natural spaces. Sarah Pfeiffer,NYRP, will discuss Urban Forests and will be introduced by Jonathan Rose of Jonathan Rose Companies
