2. Assemblyman Castelli, Senator Ball to attend town board meeting tonight

Castelli is to present the 2010 police service awards; Ball plans to give a legislative update. Other items on the agenda include a request to replace a Yield Sign with a Stop Sign on Bedford Center Road at Bedford Cross. The meeting begins at 8 p.m. and is preceded by a 7 p.m. work session on the budget. Tune in for our report tomorrow.

5. Sparkle for a Cause tonight benefits the Amy Marie Crabtree Foundation

In honor of their mother’s birthday, “Team Amy” invites locals to Crabtree’s Kittle House for a BBQ Picnic and Party. You can learn about Team Amy’s mission and initiatives. For a tax deductible, $60 suggested donation there is an open bar of wine, beer, and sangria and a barbecue buffet. The party starts in Amy’s Garden and will move downstairs at dinner time.
